GIPS Performance Exam

 In addition to a firm-wide verification, Alpha Performance Verification Services provides optional, composite-level examinations of one or more of the firm’s composites. Many of Alpha Performance Verification Services’ clients received one or more performance examinations. Although not required, many of our clients find additional benefits to performance examinations, especially in the institutional market. 

• Whether the firm has constructed and calculated the composite in compliance with the GIPS® standards, and
• Whether the firm presents the composite in compliance with the GIPS standards. 
• A firm cannot make any claim that a particular composite has been examined unless a performance examination has been completed. A performance examination can only be conducted by a verifier after or in conjunction with a firm-wide verification.
